I’m Joe Gray — the guy behind Hollow Haus Hockey.

I’ve been on the ice since I was four years old and never really found a reason to leave. I played the game all the way through college, and for the last decade, on and off, I’ve worked inside the rink itself — driving the Zamboni(Olympia), fixing what breaks, managing, and keeping the ice dialed in for everyone from first-timers to pros.

Sharpening has always been the part I obsessed over. The details, the feel, the precision — that first glide after a perfect cut. When your edges are right, the game feels easier. When they’re wrong, nothing feels right. I’ve lived that on both sides of the counter, and it’s why I started Hollow Haus: to bring consistency, honesty, and elite-level craftsmanship back to skate work.
